The was a very short n ez hike w/fellow Canyoneers on the PCT, starting from the Desert View Picnic Area. We walked south a ways & then returned the way we came.

Nice! Brings back memories from my 2018 PCT hike. It was so nice climbing out of the desert and to enter that treed area! (I drank from that same water fountain!) I'm planning on doing some trail magic around Easter at Laguna at Burnt Rancheria Campground.

Yeah that water fountain is unexpected. But the handle is touchy - it's either nothing or a sudden full blast on your face.
