Great idea. I wonder if the bus gets to bypass the massive line up of cars that often develops and the entrance. On busy days the parking lots fill and they only allow a car up as a car goes down.

I am going to assume as much. Since you need to have purchased entry before you can get on the bus, there is no reason to even stop at the gate. Rumi

What is the parking situation at the transit center?

Generally you can find free parking without having to walk too far. Rumi

That's cool! But I wish the last one on Saturday left 15 minutes later. Then it would align perfectly with Route 123, direct to Bainbridge. That would give city dwellers a completely car-free option for visiting Hurricane Ridge on a weekend. It would be much faster and cheaper than driving, given the typical ferry backups. (Perhaps they avoided setting things up like that for capacity reasons, which is too bad.)

This would be really cool if there was a shuttle out to Obstruction Point. I suppose thumbing it out to OB Pt from Hurricane ridge probably isn't that hard. I'd love to be able to leave one vehicle down in PA and be able to one-way out of OB Pt to say the Elwha or Dose w/o needing to drive all the way back to OB Pt to pick up the first car.

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.
