Did a little over 9 miles starting from No. 2 Canyon this afternoon. I was hoping to see green foliage mixed with lupine and balsamroot, but miscalculated that by a long shot. The canyon is still waking up from the recent spring snowstorm and there's not much color yet. There's some lingering snow in some of the gullies and on the north side of the Twin summits. If you want to see color, wait 2-3 weeks. Lots of excellent MTB trails on this one. I'll have to come back for a ride someday.
