Hiked to Colchuck Lake with Tractor Boy. Brutal hike, the last 3 miles gains 2400 feet of rocks, boulders, roots and very steep. The lake was beautiful and worth the pain and agony. We got there just before 8:00am and parked 1/3 mile down the road, when we left there were cars at least parked a mile down the road. Lots of hikers and backpackers, but everyone was courteous whether going up or down.
