Or, Ride the Interior of Mt Rainier Out and Back in One Day...I made this up of course, to do something harder than RAMROD, which has 145 miles of riding with 10,000' of climb. RIMROBOD is shorter, with 118 miles (from Cougar Rock Campground) but with 13,435' of climb. I first did this in 2017 but the past two years have had the Stevens Canyon road closed during the week. Out of frustration and/or desperation I committed to riding on Saturday, Oct 7th, during fantastic weather. The route that day was Cougar Rock campground to Sunrise and back. I wrote this up as part of a prior post here so this is just for the video, if anyone has an inkling to watch.

Nice ride How was the traffic? Those roads don't look particularly bike friendly.

Traffic was bad on highway 410, and sometimes in the park. 410 makes me the most nervous as the speed limit is 45 but people go way faster than that, and there's no shoulder. Luckily it is a short section.
