They have a good chance of winning the division, especially after the sweep of the Asstros....then they have series coming up against cellar dwellers KC and Oakland...and finish the season against Texas.
Their pitching is very good and as long as the hitting keeps up, the sky's the limit.

Texas, Houston, and Toronto all lost yesterday! Would have been so much fun if we could have pulled off a win. Was so close!
Go Mariners!

You can’t win ‘em all, even against a bad team like the White Sox. But yes, it would have been nice if they’d pulled it off when they took the lead in the ninth.

We saw the Ms in Queens Saturday night. There was a good contingent of us near the visitors dugout, making a lot of noise, and it was SO fun. Mets fans were pretty tolerant and I even got some genuine "I wish you guys all the best this postseason" comments. JP did his usual end of inning ball toss to Ms fans.
Also, T-Mobile Park is the best. So much better than all the other newer parks like Citifield.

The pitching mostly sucks right now. It was pathetic watching Kirby throw consistently to the same place until the Ray hitter homered.
You can't win giving up 5-8 runs a game.

Gotta hand it to JP/Ty/Kirby/Logan plus Scott and Rick Rizzs--after working all day yesterday they came to the Queen Anne Beerhall to help raise money for Team Okanogan dog rescue. And they mingled! I pet Ty's dog and my husband donated to meet JP. Team dog Tucker was there too. The coaches bartended.
