Forecast for the west slopes isn't looking to good. So whatcha gonna do? Head to the east slopes? Then again, seems like they've gotten the forecast wrong all week.

"Scattered showers" usually means "raining where I am an nowhere else".
A cloudy weekend in September...sounds like a prime weekend for a river hike.

After last weekend, I'm not paying attention until the night before. The forecast were totally off Friday-Monday last week or at least until 10-12 hours before a given day. Besides, the forecasts given locally are saying something a bit different that your link. In any event, an attempt on Overcoat is in the works for Sunday.

I'm setting up a booth and working at a dog festival in Mt Vernon on Saturday, rain or shine. That's what I'm gonna do.

Not sure yet what I'm doing. Maybe a hike, maybe work.

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

Second half of the weekend we'll take off for a week-long hike around Glass Ear Pique, to admire the meadows, the ice, forest and rock, the wet brush, the precipitation, the blisters, the cold, the hard ground, the repetitious food... I wanna stay home now! Waaaaaaahhhhhhh....

Hey BEX, nice looking AXE you've got there! Glad to see you're using it!!!!
Hey Mr. Goat, what kind of toy planes are we talking about here? I just bought a new radio. Got myself an electric DeHaviland DHC-2 Beaver to buzz around the neighborhood. Getting a 1/4 scale Piper J-3 cub soon too.

Dip Top and Lynch
|
|
|
With any luck Beave, Randy, and I will be getting to the summits of Dip Top and Lynch on Sunday. Those peaks are both in the area of potential thunderstorm activity so that may come into play for late in the day. Both peaks are one the Homecourt list. Our route will be from the end of the Tonga Ridge road and then to the east of Terrace Mtn.
