Hey, I'm posting this again as it's actually looking like ski season outside and I need to finance some new boots!!!!
I have a pair of K2 Heli Stinx skis that I never use that I really should sell. They are 190cm and in really good condition. They have never seen a liftline or a chair in their lives. They've only been on maybe 5 or 6 backcountry tours. Bases are near perfect and topsheets look great. Right now they have G3 15mm risers on them ($23 new) and Rottefella Chili bindings. The bindings, however can be removed without compromising the integrity of the ski. Any three hole pattern binding will screw right onto the riser with a screwdriver. Voile, rottefella chilis, Riva bindings, and (I believe) Rainy Superloops will all work with this riser.
Here's what K2 says (from 2002, when this specific ski was made) :
"We've supe'd up the performance of the new Heli Stinx. It still uses the same crud taming, powder floating waist (70mm) as the Stinx brothers, but we've increased the torsional stiffness and given it a deeper sidecut. The result is a quicker, more responsive and accurate ski. It's still the first choice for the high altitude alpinest or the free-heeled yo-yo-er who places a premium on fast, lightweight ascents. But the changes also make it a great choice for the lift-serviced skier looking for light weight, quickness and agility.
102/70/93 w/ 14mm sidecut
Radius: 22m@181
Triaxial Braided Torsion Box Cap
Super Lightweight Wood Core
weight 1475 grams"
I'm hoping to get $175 for them with just the risers or $200 with the risers and bindings. I'd prefer not to sell the bindings as I'll happily mount them on something new this season, given the opportunity! But if you need 'em they're yours.
Let me know via PM. As you see, I live in the Methow but I get over to Seattle fairly often and can bring them over next time. I can also provide some photos to anyone interested.
