Happened upon the REI footwear sidewalk return sale at the FedWay store last Saturday. Perfect condition, probably never worn on trail, top end La Sportiva mountaineering boots. Tag said "shank broken, boots squeak", but I hear no squeak. I think whomever bought them just decided they didn't like them and made up a story to get them returned.
Perfect fit.
$62 bucks, on the 50% off table - out the door for $31 plus tax with top end boots that sold for $245 new.
