Having a day off today, I updated my freezer bag website. I added more recipes, changed the background so that everything "fits" better, and did some tinkering.
Hopefully I will be adding more recipes after this weekend..as I have a (potentially) nummy one for tommorows hike. Yum.

There's a mostly unspoken acknowledgment among the voluntarily impoverished that it's better to be fiscally poor yet rich in experience-living the dream-than to be traditionally wealthy but live separate from one's passions.

Sarbar, I took a look at your site for the very first time and I sure am impressed. Thanks for posting all of this info. My buddies and I started cooking out of ziplocks about five years ago and it really simplfies things. It all started with a cucumber salad in a vinegarette that we would pack in via ziplocks, then proceeded to cooking instant oatmeal in them, then to emptying the contents of dehydrated soups, stews, mashed potatoes, etc, into ziplocks for cooking. But your menus take it to another level entirely.
Thanks,
Cliff

You rock and so does your website. It was fun meeting you this summer on the Colchuck trail. Keep up the good work.
