Hi all. In the spirit of "if you find yourself writing an email a bunch, turn it into a blog post", we've started writing up some notes on our hiking trips. We're pretty reluctant to leave the PNW in mid-summer, so many of the trips we take are in June (e.g., the Dolomites or Picos de Europa), just before the high peaks are reliably melted out here, in March to warmer (e.g., Portugal's Rota Vicentina) or southern hemisphere designations (e.g., Bariloche), or in late October / early November as the rains return here. I hope these can be helpful to some of you, the same way your trip reports have helped us explore many new areas closer to home.
