Hello,
I am trying to plan a trip from Stehekin to Cascade Pass that ends up at the Cascade Pass trailhead August 6 or 7.
My wife and I are looking for someone to pick us up and drive us to Redmond WA.
We would cover gas and dinner of course and you would have a nice hike to Cascade Pass and Sahalie Arm if you were inclined.
The day has to be one of those two days. Our rooms at Stehekin are already booked.
Message me if you can help with this request.

FWIW Uber supports scheduling a pick up 30 days in advance. Lyft 7 days.

Curious to know if anyone has had success getting an Uber to come pick them up at Cascade Pass TH. Seems like a big roll of the dice...

FWIW: When I was in NYC -- I've used Lyfts to get to/from Metro Rail stations to trailheads in the Hudson Highlands. I would ask the driver on the outbound leg if they would pick me up later at a pre-arranged time or if they knew a driver that would.
I believe with a pre-arranged ride, the driver has to choose to provide a ride. If they don't show, one would leave a 1 star review -- driver's whose rating drops below 4.6 (on a scale of 1-5) they can be dropped from the app.
When I was broke college student -- I ended up at the Cascade Pass trailhead after leaving a group going from Stehekin to Rainey Pass that wasn't working out -- I had no problem hitching a ride back to Puget Sound City -- but that was a different era.

There seems to be decent bus service from Chelan to SeaTac, and from SeaTac you can get a bus or Uber anywhere you want. But that requires going the other way round..

FWIW There are significant avalanche debris on the road, this far larger than a typical annual debris pile. It unclear when this might get cleared. The road remains closed about 5 miles from the trailhead.

Hey, have you been able to find something? My husband and I are looking to do the hike into stehekin the following weekend (aug 13-15). We also live in Redmond and would be willing to do a key swap if you’re flexible on dates and willing to move your trip to the following weekend.

Thank you but we gave up on the hike.
We are locked into the previous few days with friends at Stehekin.
Last I heard, the road was closed 5 miles downstream of the normal trailhead.
I am not sure if that is still the case or not.

Ah I see. If we were able to move our plan to aug 6 weekend, would you be interested in the hike again? Ours are babysitting constraints 😂
