Above Baron there is a map location called Airplane flats ( or something similar). Does anyone know the history of the naming? Seems like a Cub could land there, especially BITD

I see it on the map, but no clue about it. Could be named simply because it looks big & wide & flattish. But then again, perhaps it was used for a landing zone for fire suppression; I think (but not sure) the nearby Pasayten Airstrip was used in that way.
