I am 62 years old and experienced hiker/backpacker. Retired, so almost any day could work.I live in Lake Stevens.

Are you comfortable with the uncertainty of off trail routes?
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference.

I'm in my early 50's and also in Lake Stevens. Really getting into hiking again this year and planning on exploring backpacking as well. Not a super experienced hiker but in pretty decent shape - could be better for sure. Transitioning from running the past few years and enjoying the trails at a slower pace! Not retired so it's mostly weekends for me but feel free to ping me on here or email if you want trade some details - I think there's an email option...I'm very new to this forum. Cheers!

Would you be up to something in the Olympics sometime? I am 66 and just in the process of moving back to Olympia. I have done Cub Peak, Bear camp and Mt Ellinor in the last few weeks.
Will be doing the old bear camp trail and connecting it to Mount Rose in early Sept. Could connect it to Ellinor again if the weather's good

Smart man! Do you like to fish? I live out in Verlot and hike mostly in that area.
