I've hiked to Welch so ... what's the distance from lake to peak? I'm thinking of getting it, so please send me (in message) info/photos. unsure where the 'pass' is located, so info on that area, please. thanks

Woo Hoo!! Way to go Bobbi, Michelle and Cindy. Must have been nice up there today. Did you have any trouble finding the register?

well, who's thinking about hiking to Bogachiel Peak and getting Oly. it's 16 miles or so RT! you'll see the after effects of what may have been a landslide and or earthquake before the 7 lakes junction if you're coming from the Deer Lake area! serious! weather is looking great here in the Olympics!

I'm still interested in this and was just thinking about it the other day. How about a little offtrail scramble like Griff Peak? I've been wanting to get there and this would be just the motivation I need to finally make it happen.

Griff Peak, that’s in bobbi’s back yard. I’m interested but I am also getting old. Did manage to make it up Mt. Townsend today though.

Bobbi, how about Hawk Peak. It has been on my list for a long time. If you put the register there it will give me incentive to get up there and as far as I know it hasn’t been there before.

Yeah, Hawk is a good one. It should still be accessible for a little while more this year until a big snow buries the Tubal Cain TH.

well, I've done a few peaks, but forgot to bring the register along, oh well. anyway, I thought it if I placed it somewhere with easy access, someone else will retrieve it. Oly 4 is now living at Glines Canyon, former Lake Mills area, on the Elwha River. let me know if you want to get it and I'll tell you where to find Oly4.

I have been thinking about it but think I will wait until this hot weather goes away. Are there any good swimming pools in the river near where you placed it?
