The next three from the end, and above, the Asulkan Valley Trail, Glacier National Park Canada (I highly recommend this trail to anyone visiting this park).

Not sure how this boot shot thing got started (in general - not referring to this thread) but my wife now wants me to include boots with just about every beautiful place we visit. I cull 99% of them, but this one survived. Columbia Icefield and the Athabasca Glacier from Wilcox Pass Viewpoint (Canadian Rockies):

I don't know how is boot shot thing started either... but I'd rather see 'selfies'. That way I would know when I ran across someone from NWH.

Was able to complete a day hike traverse from one drainage in ONF/ONP to another (trails + some ridgeline offtrail travel) on 8/21 and visit a lake that I'd been wanting to swim in (sadly it was a little too cold for me, I didn't last more than two minutes, brrr!!)

My wife's boots at Iceberg Lake (Glacier National Park). If it's hot (and it was 90+ on this day) the boots come off and feet go in the water as soon as we get to our destination. Not many Icebergs this late in the season.

I made a somewhat long "dayhike" out to Mt Carrie from Solduc and back on Saturday. The views were pretty good, though hazy.
