Well that's an interesting collab! I'm used to electro pop stuff from Aurora. I've heard a bit of Wardruna on one of my Pandora stations. Not even sure what you'd call that, like ancient folk music or something. Cool song.

Youtube surfing, trying out random selections- I love this singer and her band.
She's playing two shows at the Tractor Tavern coming up. March 11th is sold out but March 8th isn't yet.

I know I was aware of Juliana Hatfield in the 90s or early 2000s, but I don't really remember hearing her music. Been streaming one of her albums, some good stuff on there. This time it really is from the 90s Gali, I promise!

We've got some 80s nostalgia going on. How about something from 2021 that sounds like it came from the 80s (or 70s even)? Jackson Browne is looking old, but his voice hasn't changed one bit. His style hasn't really changed either. Why fix it if it ain't broke? I can appreciate some artists who are always evolving, but I can also appreciate someone who finds a good groove and sticks with it.

Not from the 80s nor sounding like 80s. I'm gonna lump 3 singers together, because I think there are similarities. All have been popping up on some of my Pandora stations. All 3 have soft, almost ethereal voices that I'm enjoying. All youngish.

Nothing like throwing a little shade. So unnecessary. As if your music couldn't have just been presented on its own merits. ~z

Not at all what I intended. See my previous post. I've got nothing against the 80s.

Time for a little Northwest nuevo gospel swing.
Three accomplished songwriters, two of them multi-instrumentalists. Cahalen Morrison and Ethan Lawton are from this area. They have played at Wintergrass.
