Thank you for reviving this and I couldn't agree more on visiting old bookstores in new places. Bike shops and bookstores, partly how I rate wherever I visit.

One of the more redeeming qualities of Port Angeles are the two outstanding book stores within walking distance of each other. Both are locally owned, part of a multi-generation downtown core that has survived a lot of change, and are unique enough from each other to warrant a visit to both.

Odyssey Books and Gifts

Port Book and News

Odyssey has a large used section as well as one of the best sections for children you'll ever find. Port has a magazine rack (yes!) with niche publications.

There are also several dining and imbibing options, all within the same walking distance, and there is free parking all over downtown. Plus a great bike shop  wink.gif
