Costco has 13-pack of Mountain House meals right now for $60; three breakfasts, nine dinners and one dessert. Works out to about $4.60 per (all but the dessert are 2+ servings).

They also have Sahale Snacks -- gourmet nuts -- expensive, but they even taste great in the city -- in the mountains, you might think you've died in a fall and gone to heaven. They have jerky and Kirkland brand steak bits -- chunks of jerky -- useful. Most economical place to buy Cliff bars -- they have exactly two flavors, so you get so sick of peanut butter and chocolate chip that your supply lasts forever -- you may resort to cannibalism first... The huge racks of liquor invite proscribed political comment about private ownership of election initiatives.

Woodinville Costco currently has a Klymit display. Several models of sleeping pads, at least one sleeping bag, a couple of packs, a 1 kg raft, and an inflatable vest. I didn't do a thorough price comparison. The vendor says she's leaving on Sunday and heading to Issaquah... I'm not sure if that means the merchandise is going with her or not.

I'm guessing it's a roadshow display so yes, the merch would be going to Issaquah as well.

They had Mountain House meals at the Silverdale Costco today. This is where you buy a box with several meals. I can't remember what the price was but there is a $12.00 instant rebate at the present time.

Bought a chunk of Hatch Chile Cheese. up.gif Though I sometimes like spicy cheeses (and whatever else), the Hatch Chile Cheese is not picante at all, just the great taste of green chile. tongue.gif

Urban Star jeans. Super stretchy and comfy. Bought these 1-2 years ago in store but haven't seen them since. Just realized they sell them online.

Having recently switched to a Keto diet I've been adding more fats to my diet. Tried the Kirkland branded grass fed butter from New Zealand and wow, could really tell the difference.
