They are expensive; but a group of women with an idea need to pay the expenses somehow with few sales; the price would go down if the idea takes off and they sell many of them. But....in the meantime - I can't pay that for britches, esp. with the panty situation. It's not a convenient way to pee; I don't think I'd want to pay extra for extra hassle. But some women may like the feature so as to not be bare on a climbing rope or other scenarios - hiking above treeline, maybe...? It's a start. My guess is that matching underwear will be the next step for these women inventors.
