Texturized Vegetable Protein (TVP) is probably the gasiest dried food out there. Actually quite nasty the way it's made, as they use hexane to separate soy fat from soy protein, and trace amounts of the solvent are left after manufacturing, Best left alone!

A lot of TVP has a ton of MSG in it and knocks me out like a shot of smack especially if you add it to dried soup.

Been personally told by many vegans that when it really comes down to it the best way to go is to just get Mcdonalds burgers and just remove the meat. Who cares, fact is the best way to go is to just get McDonalds burgers, even if you're a vegan. In that case just remove the meat!!!

I will go to Arby's, they have the meats!

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
