I did a little digging, it looks like posts that were posted either on or before 4/10/21 are having the issue, but posts that were posted on or after 4/13/21 are fine. I also discovered this is only happening on my phone, not on my computer. I did update my phone the other day (iPhone) and I think this issue may have arisen right after I updated… i don’t know why it’s going on!

Ah, the thumbnails prior to that date were linking to the http version (which gets automatically redirected to https). Your phone browser must have considered that a mixed content security issue. Was an easy fix to just change the old thumbnail links to https.
