When the Treaty of Point Elliott was signed in 1855 the Snoqualmie tribe had a dozen long houses near the confluence of the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers. They then relocated to the Tulalip reservation. How wonderful that their ancestral lands are returning to them.
I still do not see the maps of the acquisition the Snoqualmie Tribe purchased. Unless, I am dumb. Does anybody have a map of the land the Snoqualmie Tribe purchased?
On Campbell's website they say they sold off a small portion on the NE corner of the tree farm. They don't show it on their maps yet but they say at gates it is shown on maps.
They bought basically the headwaters of the North Fork of the Tolt river ridge to ridge down stream for a total of 12000 acres per tribes environmental director. I am not sure the exact layout of the property.
