and I know I am probably going to tork some people here off, but this 4th we celebrate 246 years of this great experiment we call a republic. this may sound political but I think it is a birthday celebration. A great many things have changed over the years, some good some not so good and yet we are still here,,,, more or less.

Isn't the point of Independence Day being free from a mentally deranged autocracy and a legislature that felt like they could ignore the will of the people with impunity. King George III was mentally ill and Parliament didn't include representatives from the colonies.
