Mosquitoes! It's been a eerie silence up until 2 days ago. I don't know enough about Mosquitoes but the conditions must be perfect.

If people didn't talk about people on the internet mosquitoes wouldn't know we're here and hiking would be great again.

Not bad here in Verlot more nats than mozzies. I left N Idaho just as they were coming on strong the first of June and they are the small, aggressive type that are super annoying. bug.gif I bought some Repel plant based Deet free stuff with lemon and eucalyptus oil, a bit pricey but smells good and works pretty well. I really don't like Deet....if I get bitten I put on a dab or two of anti-itch creme and that usually works. I imagine one could make your own concoction of the lemon-eucalyptus oil stuff.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

I wish that lemon-eucalyptus stuff worked, but it seems to have no effect for me whatsoever. frown.gif

Yup. Noticed the little bastards for the first time along the 90 corridor a few days ago.
