Feet badly blistered, not a long walk. Angry he had to spend night. A non-hiker from the mid-west couldn’t believe that there can be perils to hiking or areas lacking cell phone coverage. Family tragically died due to heat, but he chooses to ‘investigate’ in late June. I’d wager he’s described by acquaintances as having strongly held beliefs. I think I know this guy, or else those close enough in personality to be clones.

He did do the right thing and went back to the river and drank the water, and didn’t die.
