With all the chatter about conditions in upper Snowbrushy creek Steve and I decided to do a 2 night trip to check things out. It is true that the log out ends just above the Saska Pass junction. After setting up camp about a mile below Milham we went to Milham Pass and checked out the route to Borelas Pass on the way back.

The next morning it was cross country through the burn to Saska Pass. The lower trail is gone so we just cut a diagonal until we found the trail near the top.

We never saw anyone for the entire trip. Then as we were leaving in the AM of the third day we hear something and find out we are getting steamrolled from behind by NWhikers own rising3hikers. He had just done a one nighter up on Mirror Peak. Whoa, some one night effort. up.gif

It was great to run into you guys! Way to get around to those areas without seeing many people. Thanks for your post a couple weeks ago saying that the snowbrushy trail was in good shape, it definitely helped me plan my trip.
