Also noteworthy are those new carbon wheels.Tubless and 32mm rim profile, 21mm internal rim width, and claimed weight of 1,502g. 46mm rim depth, 21mm internal rim width, and a claimed weight of 1,610g. A bit narrow considering the trend direction, but $1050 seems like bargain.
My first experience with Di2 was in Hawaii Dec 2016. I rented a Specialized Roubaix. The shop guy wanted to take me out to go over shifting gears with me. I told him I’d been riding multi gear bikes since they were invented but he insisted since this was electric shifting. I was hooked after the first lap around the parking lot. Went home and bought a 2017 Roubaix and rode it about 18k miles and it never missed a shift. In 2020 I rented a Turbo Creo and got hooked again. I now have a Creo with Di2 with a bit over 7k miles and it too has never missed a shift. I think that E shifting is one of the greatest Paradigm shifts in cycling. FWIW I kinda like having the boost of a motor too.
Who woulda thought of this?
Nevermind, it's amusing.
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities
