I picked up the CD "The Best of Ronnie Spector" and find the CD awesome. She had so much talent and such a great voice and delivery. The song I like best from the "Queen of Rock and Roll" is All I Want
Rock on, Ronnie.

I've been getting re-acquainted with Danny O'Keefe's music. Maybe the most talented songwriter in the genre that the PNW has produced, but little known as a singer. "Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues" is perhaps his most famous tune covered by others.
A 2018 solo acoustic performance and interview

Heard this first song several times on Pandora. Finally checked out some of their other stuff. Very hit and miss for me, but I do like a few others. The first one is really not indicative of their sound, it appears to be an outlier.

It was a long time ago in this thread, but at some point there was a tribute to Canadian musicians. I've known of this band for a while, but didn't realize until recently they are from north of the border. I love the fiddlin' in this song. It might not be Cajun style per se, but it kinda reminds me of notable Cajun fiddler Ken Smith.

I've probably heard this at some point, but it hadn't really soaked into my consciousness. It was the beginning point of a really good documentary I streamed on Netflix recently called "Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked The World." Came out in 1958, pretty rockin' for the time.

The music and vocals are enchanting. The animation is lush, soulful, and even psychedelic.
Embiggens nicely. ~z

Love this title. First track on the album "Riot!" Good record, this song starts it off with a bang.
