Got $62,000?
One big thing is that the poopy water goes in the same tank with gray water which means that one doesn't dare empty the tank when in an area where it is OK to empty the gray tank on the ground. And yes, there are such places. Can't do that with this.
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

We looked at the 20 ft version of this a couple of years ago when we were RV shopping but had just a few too many reasons against it.
We picked up ours on Wednesday after a 17 month wait on the order

Airstream has always been a premium brand. REI, at least the Bellevue location has been filling the entry area with glamping gear.

Lots of cool little trailers like this coming out. Im waiting for someone to make solar awnings that rollout to the sides but I do fancy me a teardrop trailer.

But....but..... that dividend!

They did use green colored plastic trim around things. I am surprised by the rear stabilizers. They look just like the cheapo ones that are on my little trailer. I would think Airstream would have put in the screw type ones.
Have read and heard that Airstream quality has gone downhill after another company took over. Overpriced and lots of things to fix.

Like some others here. We got a 4 wheel pop up camper from M.U.L.E. in Issaquah after looking at a lot of trailers and campers. They are expensive and hard to wait for. The advantage is you can camp anywhere you can park a truck and is reasonably flat. The only disadvantage is you cannot detach them and drive around. They also have special editions like Woolrich and others for a premium price. With airbags it maneuvers almost as well as a 4x4 truck when popped down. It always seemed to me the amount of convince you get from a camper is then negated by all the inconveniences of towing a large thing around. Although I can appreciate having a good shower.

I always find it amusing how the same people who preach "sustainability", "environment" etc. and signal their virtue on corporate sites such as LinkedIn spend their weekends hauling a mobile home on wheels with their V8 Diesel Range Rover. My philosophy is, do what you want but call it like it is. Personally i dont see why you need something like this to enjoy nature, isn't the entire point to remove human comforts and experience the raw?

Not really, enjoyment of the outdoors is whatever you want it to be. Not to mention some of us have spouses who don't necessarily want to rough it so to speak.

As I said "My philosophy is, do what you want but call it like it is." i.e don't preach about saving glaciers, so this obv doesnt include you and your spouse.

Btw this seems a risky statement, what if ones "enjoyment" of the outdoors is burning the ALW to the ground?
