I thought mine might be worth a few hundred dollars. That $4,9999 offer on eBay has been there for maybe a year already! But I'll be moving, and I won't be able to keep them hanging up so I would love to sell them to someone who also loves them. Carol 206.218.7552, text me if you're interested.

Contact the Darrington Library, (360) 436-1600 about the Bruseth paintings. They can get you in touch with someone on the town council; the town may be interested; I don't know that to be the case, though.

I'll go through my collection and see if I have it that book. I have several thousand, many of which are old cascades books of various sorts that I've collected, been gifted, etc. There's certainly some Bruseth documents and at least one or two books. I plan on doing a big reorganization soon, so I can find the ones I'm looking for when I need to reference them! But, now that I think about it, your better bet is to go check this collection out: https://archiveswest.orbiscascade.org/ark:80444/xv12869 And if you go, let me know what you find of glacier-interest wink.gif

Nels is a Stanwood homeboy I guess. My dad worked out of the Darrington Ranger District after high school from ‘55-‘60. I wonder if my dad knew Nels? It’s too late to ask now.

I stopped by the Darrington Ranger Station earlier this week with a friend in hopes of viewing some of Mr Bruseth's artwork. They are put away at present due to renovation but will be back out to see when the work is completed. Another fan here.

Darrington Historical Society would love Nels paintings . My aunt Betty Gerd Bruseth donated his paintings to them
