I wonder what the max elevation those things can fly is. Regular helicopters certainly can't operate safely at that height. They can reach Everest base camp, but there's definitely a zone somewhere along the route where helicopters aren't available for rescue operations.
To answer my own question, apparently around 33,000' for drones. Helicopters are between 20,000' to 25,000', but they can't hover at anywhere near those elevations.
