I wonder what the max elevation those things can fly is. Regular helicopters certainly can't operate safely at that height. They can reach Everest base camp, but there's definitely a zone somewhere along the route where helicopters aren't available for rescue operations. To answer my own question, apparently around 33,000' for drones. Helicopters are between 20,000' to 25,000', but they can't hover at anywhere near those elevations.

Im surprised a stock Mavic 3 was able to get lift that easily up there. It looked like it took off no problem and went even higher.

I bet the battery life isn't too good up there with the thin air and cold temps...
