Why freak out about finding non-ideal rap stations and sliding off the ends of your rope?
If you just climbed it using screws for belays, why not make a couple A-threads and use those? You could make them on the way up and thread webbing, so you're set for the return.

No one was freaked out. And descending on v-threads in the afternoon when the sun hits the upper pitches is not without its own form of peril. On the day the pictures I posted were taken, a large section of the lower falls, on which we'd climbed that morning, collapsed as we were packing up camp.
