Nice to see all the late submissions. Deadline has been extended 24 hours to give everyone a chance to review submissions and make sure everything is where it should be, and one last chance for any late comers to submit.

So many absolutely drop-dead gorgeous photos! How in the world am I ever going to choose? confused.gif I haven't seen even one photo that I would not want to have in the calendar!

November is too competitive. It's usually a mediocre in between month, too rainy and cold for hiking to be very enjoyable and but enough snow to ski yet. But we have a collection of some of the best outdoor photos ever taken, all trying to represent this blustery late fall month. We need a dozen calendars!

We don't have enough photos for a daily calendar, but we have more than enough for a weekly one! In fact, three weekly calendars! Wow! Perhaps the option of a weekly engagement calendar with the 53 top photos as well as the wall calendar with 13? Might be awfully pricey, though.

I don't think we can legally have larches in the cover.

Could try that next year but since voting is already in play wouldn't work this year. We will have a "finals" round of voting next week once the primary closes and the top 3 in each category are identified.

I kinda like the current anonymity. Gives people less of a bias. Social media is a great example of people often liking posts because others have already done so. The mind is susceptible to suggestion.

My wife helped me vote last night. She was blown away by the quality of submissions this year and said it should be one of the best NWH calendars ever.

I was also really blown away by the amazing photos, they seem to get more spectacular every year! August and September were especially tough to pick just one. I am usually not a fan of photos containing humans, but I actually voted for one in October.

I also really like the anonymity. I think in the past some voted for a particular photo based more upon the person that submitted it rather than how much they liked it.

It looks like there is a photo that's submitted twice - for the cover and October.

Some months were really difficult to decide ... made me wish the contest had ranked-choice voting (for at least 2/month). I've noticed that I've developed consistent compositional/design etc preferences (including some types I consistently reject); it would be interesting to get in a room with others from NWH and have a conversation about how they made their choices. Thanks, Tom, for organizing!
