Here's the wiki page for Fleetwood Mac if you want to sort out the various members over time. Christine McVie came along after Stevie Nicks had left the band. ~z Oops. I got it wrong. Sorry.

One of the greatest rock bands of all time. A few years ago, PBS broadcast a 1997 concert "The Dance" It was one of the best of the PBS concerts. Although the full concert does not appear to be available, numerous songs from "The Dance can be found on utube. Here is "You Make Loving Fun, sung by Christie McVie. I really loved her sultry voice, British accent, and unique style and sexy delivery. Christie McVie sings "You Make Loving Fun" from "The Dance" From "The Dance" Christie McVie Say You Love Me

One of my all time favorite albums "Bare Trees", Spare Me a Little of Your Love And a beautiful audio of "Songbird"; what a voice... Songbird by Christie McVie

Sorry. Wasn't meant to be a lie. It was an oversight.

Ah, the soundtrack to my early years in the Canadian Rockies. Nothing makes you feel old like being reminded your rock heroes & heroines are pushing against their 8th decade. frown.gif A huge loss. RIP.

For sure, a lot of them gone recently. Bowie, Petty, Eddie Van Halen, Dio, Neil Pert, John Prine, etc...was glad I got to see Santana in concert this summer, he is getting up there too. My impression of Carlos is that someone might be able to play a guitar as good as him, but I doubt any better. Of course that is a matter of taste as well.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

And finally here is one that gb linked to upthread. It deserves its own post--such an awesome song. Christine McVie's stage presence is so classy, so smooth. Her voice just soars. And the guitar solos are exquisite. ~z
