Goosenecks State Park, Utah there's nice walking around the canyon rim here (and a friend who saw this pic on FB just commented that there's an ancient Puebloan ruin below here that requires some climbing to reach)

Another from Zion - this one is from the area east of the tunnel, between the tunnel and the Checkerboard Mesa. It's a cool less-crowded zone where you can easily find solitude if you wander from various pullouts/parking spots. Lots of good wandering in various directions here!!

Funny. At first glace I thought it was a photo of a lithium mine.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

What a cool snow pattern! Wow!

From the Puerto Vallarta Botanical Garden. The image depicts the inside of a replica artwork entitled "Immersive Work (Mexican Chapel)" but unfortunately I neglected to record the artist's name.

Some phone pics from Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula and Pacuare River. I still can't believe how much wildlife we saw, and how many were animals I've never heard of.
Real primary (old growth) rainforest on the Osa Peninsula in southern Costa Rica, near the border with Panama.
30 years ago this property was pasture as part of a cattle ranch on the Pacuare River. River runners bought it and eventually turned in into Pacuare Lodge, but all this reforestation was done by the fruit bats and birds and wind. Amazing how the rainforest comes back. Rafting the Pacuare was an absolute blast.
