Thursday we went from the Granite TH out past Olallie lake. As was the case last year, I turned on my InReach Mini just for fun from the start- thinking it would keep us apprised of distance. And like last year when we did the same trip, it only managed to snag a few track-points along the route, with at least one gap of nearly 2 miles!
Does the new Mini work any better than this?
With every passing hour our solar system comes forty-three thousand miles closer to globular cluster M13 in the constellation Hercules, and still there are some misfits who continue to insist that there is no such thing as progress.
