A wonderful way to start off 2,023! Mainly excellent conditions for traveling in snowshoes. Started at Exit 42, headed up the Old Mason Lk. Trail. Branching off (right and up) 100yds passed the switchbacks onto the Winter Ridge route. While the boulder section was filled in, more snow would be preferred, and caution was required.

The wind was light on top, so we enjoyed a quick lunch then headed down to Mason Lk. via the N.E. ridge for the loop. Fun day! Cheers, B!
