Songs about mental health seem to be fairly prominent lately, but I can't think of any other song specifically about eating disorders off the top of my head.

One of my all-time favorite songs (It's the lyrics)
Quote: | Joan Baez ~ OUTSIDE THE NASHVILLE CITY LIMITS ~ Joan had this to say about the song. She and Kris Kristofferson drove up into the country side in Nasville to visit a couple, Kris`s friends. Joan met them and they were very polite. They were served some wine and her husband showed them around his property while still sipping their wine. He sat Joan on a rock and began to tell her about the little stream that ran through his property. It brought tears to the man`s eyes as he talked about his love for the little stream. It made Joan`s eyes tear up also. When Joan returned home, she wanted to write a song about her experience on that farm and about the man`s love for the little stream. After hearing Joan`s song, he was touched. He always thought of Joan as a "commie" and a "pinko". After he knew Joan, the man swore he would never prejudge another human being again. In exchange for the song Joan wrote, the man sent Joan a casette recording of the little stream he loved so much. To this day Joan records sounds of streams. |

I've been hearing this on SiriusXM a lot recently. Looked up some of her other songs on You Tube, none of the others really grabbed me. But this song I really like.

I somehow missed the new album by Alter Bridge (which came out in October):

Heard this on SiriusXM a little bit earlier. Never heard of the band before. Looked them up later, it's a duo, and one of them does solo stuff under the name Waxahatchee, who I am a bit familiar with. Anyway, this caught my ear right away.

Freya Ridings again, can't get enough of her powerful and beautiful voice. This is about the best one can find on U-tube, it is a 30 minute solo concert recorded on German Radioeins lounge.

I finally got on the Måneskin bandwagon; they are currently nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist. Fun band!

Heard some interesting stuff on SeriusXM the other day that I liked. Looked up some more songs from a couple of the bands and liked most of it.
Heard this while driving:
Kind of a fun video. Is it me or did they borrow the base line and maybe a bit more from "Heart of Glass" for this one?
