It's great that eBikes have arrived and are being so enthusiastically embraced. People definitely should be encouraged to use them especially in cities where they can do real good. And should be able to ride them in fun places too like the Palouse to Cascades Trail. The Tribes are right, eBikes should be regulated as motor vehicles because that's what they are. Pretending a vehicle that's propelled by a motor is anything but a motorized vehicle is nonsense. Actual non motorized bikes are available and people are buying motorized ones instead but want everybody else to pretend. Call them what they are, and have fun riding them. smile.gif
