Not a bad vantage that last shot. Between the breathtaking photographs, I appreciate the little gems from an oeuvre comprising some of the finest words written on the personal experience of exploring the North Cascades. Excessive brevity here keeping your wanting public... wanting.

This looks incredible! I'm jealous you got to spend such an intimate time there. The trip kloria and I took, we barely got to enjoy stop and enjoy the scenery since we were constantly moving (and out of shape)
Thanks for sharing!

The schwack to approach Pork Belly Ridge from where you leave the road is the worst I have ever endured. And that approach is brutal! Thanks for the amazing photos of Berdeen, we were socked in when we were there.

I didn't do any fishing on this trip, but there are fish in the lake.

Excellent. I've been here many times as well, going into very cool areas, usually for a week at a time. I was also up there this summer. It's a rough area, but that's what I love about it. I never seem to do as much as I want to.

Thanks again for the fantastic photo essay to make it thru the winter. To supplement here's a few aerial shots taken by Long Bach Nguyen less than a week prior to your trip.

Thank you for showing us a beautiful place many of us probably won't make it to.

I thought all the lakes int he NCNP were poisoned to kill the fish?
