Does anyone have any experience hiking up this trail? How many miles can you go upstream..is it scenic? over grown? campsites very nice? Thanks!

It's a good trail until the Sulfur creek campground, then it all but disappears. If you want to go much further past that, expect brush bashing and water crossings to be the norm
Also I'm realizing my intel is 5 years old now, so take it with a grain of salt

I hear if you go up far enough and take a left, you'll end up at the Mineral Ice Caves. It's fairly scenic all the way up.

There's a camp at Sulphide Creek at 2.7 miles. It's in North Cascade National Park and requires a permit to camp overnight. The trail enters the park just after mile 2. The camp is in the trees, but has impressive views from the creek area when the weather is clear. The river is a couple hundred yards or so below the camp. This is a good early season hike. Beautiful valley.

Anyone happen to have alltrails, gaia or garmin map for this route? Looking to roll out there with new hikers and wanted to see if anyone has current map with distance and average times. Thank you hikers.

It is 2.6 miles each way to Sulphide Creek camp. Mostly flat. Very beautiful and quiet little hike. It was my son's very first overnight when he was 4.
