Deep Currents Around Antarctica Heading for Collapse The deep ocean circulation that forms around Antarctica could be headed for collapse, say scientists. Such decline of this ocean circulation will stagnate the bottom of the oceans and generate further impacts affecting climate and marine ecosystems for centuries to come. * * * "Our modeling shows that if global carbon emissions continue at the current rate, then the Antarctic overturning will slow by more than 40 percent in the next 30 years—and on a trajectory that looks headed towards collapse," says Prof England. https://phys.org/news/2023-03-deep-ocean-currents-antarctica-collapse.html Especially combined with this: World CO2 emissions are projected to increase EIA’s International Energy Outlook 2021 (IEO2021) Reference case projects that if current policy and technology trends continue, global energy consumption and energy-related CO2 emissions will increase from 2020 through 2050 as a result of population and economic growth. However, projected future growth in energy-related CO2 emissions is not evenly distributed across the world, and the majority of the projected future growth in energy-related CO2 emissions is among the group of countries outside the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). https://tinyurl.com/2t9k8pnh Look at the second graph down the page.

Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean someone isn't out to get you.

We're also losing the Great Salt Lake. And a very large percent of the species alive today. We can't stop dumping oil and nasty industrial chemicals in rivers. We're cutting down the wilderness at a breakneck speed and keep discovering new illnesses because of it. And what are humans worried about in terms of safety? ChatGPT, of course! rolleyes.gif

Consider that internet leakage from some of the deep ocean wire connections handling the CHAT GPT servers has rapidly become a driving factor causing this. When the wires break you get raw internet leaking out into the ocean and it has terrible effects on the ecosystem.

Something Al Gore never considered when he invented the internet............"it's tough to make predictions, especially about the future."

It is as though I had read a divine text, written into the world itself, not with letters but rather with essential objects, saying: Man, stretch thy reason hither, so thou mayest comprehend these things. Johannes Kepler
