Been meaning to watch this for a while now. I did last night and wish I'd done so sooner. An exceptional and inspiring documentary. As the trailer suggests, a mother-daughter team does a 6-month ski traverse of the British Columbia mountain ranges in winter. But their story is edited together with profiles of a guide, a pilot, an avalanche survivor, two artists, and a convent of nuns - all linked by their need to live within these mountains. Add a beautiful soundtrack and epic cinematography and the result is a meaningful and memorable film.
