I have a hand-held gimbal for my phone that produces amazing quality video, but I'm looking for an option that doesn't require me to hold a gimbal in my hands. I'm envisioning something which could attach to my backpack somehow. Options I've considered are the DJI Osmo Pocket and the GoPro Hero 11.
Suggestions?
Stabilization on the GoPro works well although in the more extreme setting it narrows the field of view. GoPro as a company has become horrible tho. I've decided not to buy from them again. Plenty of clones out there and I'll try that if ever needing another. I have 3D printed clips and mounts that work on various running vests and packs because you need to get the camera as low profile as possible to avoid it swaying around and off the shelf mounts just don't cut it.
As mentioned above, GoPro Heros (since the Hero7) have excellent software stabilization. I have done many shoulder mounted hiking/scrambling videos and the newest ones have auto horizon leveling. Also good for skiing and biking videos. I have been using the Max Lens mod on both the Hero9 and 11. Here's a few examples:

Check it out, both the DJI Osmo Pocket and GoPro Hero 11 are rad options for stabilized video on the go!
The Osmo Pocket's like a mini magic wand, easy to carry around and produce epic footage. But hey, don't count out the GoPro Hero 11, it's a rugged beast, perfect for those action-packed hikes!
