Hello everyone, Im interested in getting out and hiking and am new to it all. So having a group of people to show me the ropes would be great. I live in arlington wa and would really appreciate getting a group of people to go on hikes with. I know there is some hike trails up mount baker and im sure their is some in/near darrington area. Im in average shape and could probably get around fairly well. Weekdays work best for me.

Check your private message, horizontal bars upper left corner.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference. Robert Frost

Boulder River (toward Darrington) has waterfalls and lovely this season. Boulder lake may also be doable. I'd love to go again soon.... There's a ton of beauty in that area including Mt Baker region. Tricia

Welcome to the site. I know some good places up where I live near Verlot. I am retired so able to hike most days. I am also seeking an experienced partner/s to "show me the ropes"...on how to get to Helena lake and to the Hoodoo mine. Anyone want to be my guide and will work for beer? drink.gif

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
