Set a camera up on a spring fed creek anticipating bears coming in to drink & cool off & we are right in the middle of Black Bear breeding season. A estrous sow comes to the pool followed by a interested boar. The next day, another boar is on her scent path

It's been fun documenting the action @ this little spring fed splash pool. It's really surprising all the wildlife that visits especially because there is a large body of water not that far away. I don't post all the visitors but have seen owls, turkeys, deer, elk, cougars, bears. It's now dirty & gross. The elk wallow and urinate in it and still choose to drink from it. Interesting gathering place for sure
