For the most part I like it! It's a good combination of 'light'weight and sturdiness. There are a couple of issues though:
1- My Fiesol ball-head doesn't work well with my 400mm lens while taking wildlife photos (unless I'm shooting level, and haven't tilted the camera upwards), so I use a pan-head for those, which works well. For landscape shots and with my 70-200mm mid-range telephoto zoom, the ball-head works great.
2- I have to periodically tighten the nuts on the legs. They still work well during photography but can swing somewhat freely when I carry the tripod around.
