Hi, Seeking information as to the history of the small monument "Holy Man". It appears to be a section of metal pipe with the words "Holy Man" cut through with a torch. This monument is located on top of Miner's Ridge south of Bumping Lake in Yakima county. It's near the end of the road / trail that starts at Copper City. My research finds it was placed there between 2000 - 2006. Photo credit to Mr. Kris Minnear. Thanks, Lee

Wonder if it's related to a similar sign on Gracie Point on Yakima Skyline Ridge? https://www.peakbagger.com/peak.aspx?pid=43639

I did not notice in the photograph that you left any offerings.

"I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach. I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each."

John Slocum? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Slocum?fbclid=IwAR2apjkiRvUcBmYgkg0oZQ4eoQ8I7FC3deLly1pxz58rBU0YmID_PeE0keY

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

There's a smilar-looking metal sign at Little Cougar Lake, a few miles west of Miners Ridge, noting what it labels 'Couger Lake.' Maybe someone in the area went on a sign kick a while back? That one is flat though, not curved.
