REI had a "food fair" if you will today. Got to sample backpacking food from several vendors. I'll give a thumbs up to the "Leonardo de Fettucine" from AlpineAir (apparently this is going up on the space shuttle, I can see why, it IS tasty). It was actually a neat opportunity to taste several entrees from different vendors without buying the whole thing up.gif I also got an interesting suggestion - from the AA guy - he air dries that fancy prosciutto on his kitchen counter, adds it to their mac & cheese product and apparently it reconstitutes pretty well. For you gourmet folks out there!
